§ 10-100. Blocking intersections

  • (a) It shall be unlawful for a driver to enter any intersection or a marked crosswalk unless there is sufficient space on the other side of the intersection or crosswalk to accommodate the vehicle he is operating without obstructing the passage of other vehicles or pedestrians notwithstanding any traffic-control signal indicating to proceed.

    (b) The chief of police is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be erected suitable signs and markers at intersections to notify the public of such restrictions.
