§ 12-117. Officers

There shall be a chairman and vice-chairman of the parks and recreation advisory board. The chairman shall be elected by the members and take office at the subsequent regular meeting. An annual election of all officers shall be held by the members and shall occur at the regular monthly meeting in July. The vice-chairman shall serve for one (1) year from election with eligibility for reelection. All officers shall take office at the subsequent regular meeting in August. If the vice-chairman's appointment to such board is terminated, a replacement to this office shall be elected by such board, from its membership at the meeting following the termination. The recreation commissioner or his designee shall serve as secretary to such board.
