§ 13-37. Carrying and use of firearms

No member of the auxiliary police unit will carry or use a firearm until he has completed firearms familiarization conducted by the department police firearms instructor. In addition, members of the auxiliary police unit shall be governed by the departments general order pertaining to the use of firearms.
