§ 14-31. Parades

  • (a) No parade shall take place within the town without a permit in writing from the town council, designating the dates and streets over which the parade shall pass.

    (b) Before any circus, or other agency employing heavy equipment, shall be allowed the privilege of hauling heavy wagons, equipment and paraphernalia along, through or over any of the streets of the town, such circus, or other activity, shall give the cash bond in the sum of a minimum of five hundred dollars ($500.00), conditioned that restitution will be made for all streets damaged by such hauling. Such heavy loads shall not be hauled over any street except by permit of the town council designating the streets to be used and the date and hour of the parade.
