§ 14-35. Water drained from swimming pools

(a) It shall be the duty of all property owners within the town to provide in their swimming pools adequate drainage facilities so that their premises, adjoining lands, streets and rights-of-way are free from the pool discharge thereof, and such drainage may be provided either through natural or artificial drains found to be adequate by the town's director of public works.

(b) Water drained from pools shall not be discharged into the town's sewer system but the preferable method is through the town's storm-drainage system.

(c) Any violation of this section shall subject such offender to a civil penalty as provided in section 1-15 of this Code of the town of Kure Beach.
