§ 14-73. Negligence in making when contiguous to street or sidewalk

No person shall make or, cause to be made, any excavation, on any lot contiguous to any street or sidewalk, so negligently made or maintained that the same, by caving or otherwise, shall in any manner endanger or injure such street or sidewalk.
