§ 18-52. Issuance and form of taxicab certificates

Upon compliance with section 18-32 and upon the issuance of an operator's license, as provided for in sections 18-46 through 18-48, a taxicab certificate shall be issued showing the following:

(1) That the operator of such taxicab has complied with the provisions of section 18-32 by providing liability insurance or the giving of approved surety bond, or deposit in cash, or approved securities as required.

(2) That the public convenience and necessity require the operation of such taxicabs.
