§ 18-67. Examination

Latest version.

(a) Each applicant for a driver's permit shall pass such examination as to ability and fitness to drive a taxicab and as to his general knowledge of the laws regulating the operation of such vehicle and the traffic regulations of the town as the town council shall prescribe.

(b) If such applicant shall fail to pass such examination, no driver's permit shall be issued. Before the driver's permit is granted by the town council, the applicant therefor shall also furnish his photograph and fingerprint record.
