§ 18-69. Expiration; transfer; revocation; fee

(a) All drivers' permits shall expire on May 31 following the date of issuance.

(b) No permit issued under the provisions of this section shall be transferable. Every such permit shall be subject to cancellation by the town council for the violation of any of the provisions of this chapter or any state law governing and regulating the operation of taxicabs.

(c) A driver's permit shall be issued only to the owner or lessee of the vehicle or an employee of such owner or lessee. A lessee shall not be required to hold an operator's license in addition to a driver's permit.

(d) A charge of one dollar ($1.00) shall be made for the issuance of a driver's permit.
