§ 18-71. Soliciting fares and persons for transportation

  • Whenever any taxicab is being operated upon such streets of the town the driver thereof shall not leave his taxicab for the purpose of soliciting passengers and fares a distance greater than ten (10) feet from such taxicab, except upon request to assist in the handling of baggage by a passenger or prospective passenger.
