§ 5-93. Adoption of North Carolina Uniform Residential Building Code, including amendments; area of jurisdiction

  • The North Carolina Uniform Residential Building Code, including all subsequent amendments thereto, prepared by the North Carolina Building Inspectors' Association and the North Carolina State Building Code Council, is hereby adopted by reference as the Uniform Residential Building Code for the town when the same is filed in the office of the town clerk. It shall be unlawful for any person to fail, neglect or refuse to comply with the provisions of such North Carolina Uniform Residential Building Code and amendments thereto.
