§ 5-156. Requirements for moving buildings

  • No building shall be moved from an area outside the town limits or its extraterritorial jurisdiction to any lot or parcel of land within the corporate limits or its extraterritorial jurisdiction; except new modular unit construction. Any building moved within the corporate limits or its extraterritorial jurisdiction to another lot or parcel of land within the corporate limits or the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the town shall conform completely to the North Carolina State Minimum Building Code and the town's building codes and requirements set forth in the town's zoning ordinance.
